Back in the month of May 2020 the whole world shifted focus from Covid-19 when news about George Floyd broke. George is the elderly black man who was murdered by police officers who are currently in custody awaiting trial.

The incident of police brutality wasn’t the first with Floyd he was just another black victim in the long list. America was exposed on how worse it treats citizens of color, rappers havs been rapping about it. To put more emphasis on the outcry accompanied with protests about police brutality – Nasty C and T.I released a joint ‘They Don’t‘.

Speaking on the issue with DJ Whookid the Hell Naw star compared how the situation in South Africa is nothing in comparison to America. He added on to share his experience.

“We were in New York shooting a video and we were stuck on a roof. There were like 14 Cops, and it was 7/ arrests. They put us in a line and made us pull out IDs, there wasn’t even one black cop there and i was like oh sh*t.”
